Security Architect

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and maintaining Information Security policies and standards

Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and suspicious activity

Perform security risk assessments and system analysis and system design

Responsible for configuration and management of all perimeter devices

Work with the development team to implement best security practices to applications

Educate internal staff on security practices

Lead risk management processes

Core Competencies
Preferred candidates will possess some or all of the following qualifications:

Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and other standard frameworks

One or more of the following certifications desired but not required: CGIA, GCIH, GPEN, or GSNA

Experience with cybersecurity technologies and advanced threat management solutions

Firewall and router management skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

The ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts

Strong initiative, works well with others, and the ability to work independently and within a team structure

Excellent communication skills that include listening, verbal and written skills

The ability to easily switch between multiple tasks and manage time while contributing to multiple projects

Education and Experience
  A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a major/minor in one or more of the following disciplines:
    Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and Physical Science disciplines, Mathematics)

Candidates will typically possess more than 5 years of experience in the information security field

Working Conditions
Involve working in the Firm’s office

May require use of a car and cell phone to conduct Firm’s business

May require travel to the other offices

Moderate to low overtime required throughout the year. High level of overtime may be required during busy
