Developer (Columbus OH, Toledo, OH or Nashville, TN)

Job Responsibilities
Design and maintain business applications used to deliver services to clients
 Analyze needs of various business practice areas to help in process improvements
 Work in a team environment to maintain and enhance multiple web based applications built in .NET, HTML,
    Java, and JavaScript
This role requires working extended hours at times throughout the year especially during busy times for the
    Firm
 This role may require the use of a car and a cell phone to conduct Firm business and may require travel to
    other Firm office locations

Education and Experience

 A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with a major/minor in one or more of the following
    disciplines: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and Physical Science disciplines,
    Mathematics
 Candidates will typically possess more than 3 years of programming experience in related fields, though it is
    understood that extremely qualified candidates may achieve this competency level in less time
 Knowledge and experience in human resources disciplines including wellness, compensation, change
    management, internal communication, mergers, HRIS systems, and coaching preferred

Core Competencies

Proficient in Microsoft SQL or MySQL, this includes but is not limited to scripts, stored procedures, proper
    relational database design, maintenance, SQL server performance, as well as backup and recovery of the
    database
Must have a background in Java. .NET experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
The ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts
Strong initiative, works well with others, and the ability to work independently and within a team structure.
Excellent communication skills that include listening, verbal and written skills
Proficient in tools of communication (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Internet and Intranet
    resources)
The ability to easily switch between multiple tasks and manage time while contributing to multiple projects
