Benefit Analyst (Cleveland, OH)

Job Responsibilities
As a Benefit Analyst in the Cleveland office, this role will work with senior consultants to manage client accounts primarily for our Health and Group Benefits and Human Capital practices. This may involve assisting with client strategy, interfacing directly with clients and developing vendor relationships. To fulfill this role, the Analyst will:

Provide benchmarking, financial, contract and/or administrative analysis, and manage portions of projects

Conduct data analysis, including, but not limited to, reviewing claims and utilization data and looking for
    trends and patterns. May also involve use of the underwriting model to develop self-funded claims
    projections, rate setting and employee cost sharing

Review internal compliance and client disclosure requirements and employee communications to ensure
    alignment with client expectations and legal requirements

Manage client requests including problem-solving for vendor service issues

Manage the quality and timeliness of client deliverables

Provide peer review to other Findley Davies Consultants

Participate in client calls and meetings as appropriate

Develop understanding of Health and Benefits and Human Capital products, services and tools including
    vendor/carrier markets. Develop relationships with vendors in order to understand and compare products
    and services being offered to provide recommendations and solutions to clients

Learn and utilize advanced underwriting and financial skills

Gather and manipulate data using spreadsheets and databases


Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

Three years of financial analysis or benefit analytical experience

Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to deliver project objectives while working both independently and as part of a team
