Working in the firm's Defined Benefits Administration Practice providing daily administration for client plans:
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Build and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency
Work with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Special technical projects or other duties as assigned on an as needed basis
Will require travel
May require use of a cell phone and car to conduct firm business

Core Competencies
Proficient working in Microsoft server environments, this includes but is not limited to Active Directory,
    DNS, DHCP, IIS, Exchange, and SQL Server
Experience with monitoring systems, firewalls, routers, VMware environments
Strong knowledge of data backup concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
The ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts
Strong initiative, ability to work well with others, and demonstrated ability to work independently and
    within a team structure.
Excellent communication skills including high level listening, verbal and written skills
Proficient in tools of communication (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Internet resources)
The ability to easily switch between multiple tasks and manage time while contributing to multiple projects

Education
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) with a major/minor in one or more of the following disciplines:
    Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Physical Science disciplines, Mathematics
More than 5 years of networking experience in related fields preferred
